"And he cried unto YHVH; and
YHVH shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the
waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for
them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved
them, And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the
voice of YHVH thy God, and wilt do that which is right
in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and
keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am YHVH
that healeth thee."

"Behold, I send an Angel before
thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into
the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and
obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon
your transgressions: for my name is in him.
But if thou shalt
indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak;
then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an
adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall
go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and
the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites,
the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them
off. Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve
them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly
overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And
ye shall serve YHVH your God, and he shall bless thy
bread, and thy water; and
I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."

"Wherefore it shall come to
pass, if ye hearken
to these judgments, and keep, and do them,
that YHVH thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and
the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will
love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will
also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy
land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the
increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in
the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not
be male or female barren among you, or among your
cattle. And YHVH
will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none
of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon
thee; but will lay them upon all them
that hate thee."
