ControversialMany topics relating to the scripture, even those that don't, are controversial in nature. This does not mean we ignore the topic. As Proverbs 18:13 states, "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." We need to listen to all the facts before we make any decisions. Sometimes we might hear about a topic and assume it is crazy because everyone else thinks it is crazy. This is not scriptural. Our stance should be neutral until we have heard the matter in its entirety. Often times believers do not put aside their own presuppositions and determine the truth using the scripture, prayer, and their God given intelligence. We are not to come to a conclusion on anything until we have heard the matter in its entirety. Browse the topics below and keep an open mind. Use the scriptural principle of "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" (2 Cor. 13:1). Try to find other sources (witnesses) who might verify the information. This is God's way of establishing facts.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
